I hope: people learn they can find their place to work in tech
I’m originally from Colorado, but moved to Houston in 2018 and used the opportunity to learn more about business and startups after working in clinical research. I care deeply about contributing to improving patient outcomes, and now work at a healthcare software company called Luminare heading up Customer Success and am passionate about helping others connect with the job and community that is right for them, especially if you are new to Houston!
I hope: there can be meaningful resources for people to connect with the Houston tech community
I’ve been working with early-stage startups for the past 5 years, first in Los Angeles, and now in Houston where I’ve lived since 2017. I’m passionate about customer experience, storytelling through qualitative and quantitative data, and making sure that products are about people first (I currently do all of this at Percy!). After finding it surprisingly difficult to know where the tech jobs were in Houston, I’ve made it a priority to work on the job resources I wish I’d had as a new Houstonian.

I hope: that talent and tech companies can find each other faster
Serial entrepreneur and Houston native, I’m fortunate to have founded 8 startups since 2001. I’m always striving to invent new markets or innovate in old ones. Over the years and even today as CEO of ORDRS, finding talent in Houston is not without its challenges. From want-ads on Craigslist to networking at iOS developer meetups, I’ve done it all to uncover and connect with talent in Houston. With HTX Talent, I want to make the journey easier for other entrepreneurs and startups.
